Opportunity Radar values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about your data when you use the Opportunity Radar platform.

By using Opportunity Radar, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you have any questions, please contact us using the information at the end of this policy.

We collect information that helps us operate the platform safely and effectively, including:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Profile photo
• ZIP code and general location
• Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
• Device and usage information
• Messages and support requests
• Trusted Contact information (if added by you)

We use your information to:

• Create and manage accounts
• Verify identity and phone numbers
• Match users with opportunities
• Process payments
• Improve the platform
• Detect fraud and abuse
• Provide customer support
• Operate safety features

Opportunity Radar sends transactional SMS messages only. Message types include:

• Phone verification codes
• Account security alerts
• Safety Check notifications
• Emergency SOS notifications
• Trusted Contact safety alerts

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the safety features you enable. Message and data rates may apply.

You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further SMS messages, or reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not close your account, but it will disable phone-based verification, Safety Check reminders, and Emergency SOS notifications.

Phone numbers collected by Opportunity Radar are never sold and are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS opt-in and consent information is never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Opportunity Radar includes safety features designed to help protect users. These features include:

• Trusted Contacts — people you choose who can receive safety alerts on your behalf
• Emergency SOS — a quick way to alert your Trusted Contacts and share your location during an emergency
• Safety Check — scheduled check-ins that help confirm you are safe during an opportunity
• Share My Opportunity — lets you share details of an opportunity with a trusted person

These features only operate when enabled by you or activated during an emergency. You control which safety features are active on your account.

Location information is used only for:

• Matching nearby opportunities
• Optional safety features
• Emergency alerts when enabled

Location is never sold. You can manage location permissions through your device settings and update your saved location at any time in your profile.

Payments made through Opportunity Radar are securely processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Opportunity Radar facilitates payment processing between users but is not the financial institution holding or issuing funds. While we may administer payment workflows, escrow releases, refunds, or dispute procedures in accordance with our policies, we are not responsible for losses resulting from fraud, user misconduct, chargebacks, or breaches of agreements between users except as required by applicable law.

Opportunity Radar does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Twilio for transactional SMS delivery
• Service providers necessary to operate the platform
• Law enforcement when legally required

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect user information. This includes encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure practices. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users may:

• Update profile information
• Remove Trusted Contacts
• Delete their account (subject to legal and transaction retention requirements)
• Contact support regarding privacy questions

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below or use the in-app account and profile settings.

Data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to meet applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, safety, and contractual obligations, and is deleted or anonymized when those obligations are satisfied.

When you close your account, your personal profile is removed and your remaining activity is anonymized so counterparties still see completed transactions attributed to "Deleted user." Stripe, escrow, tax, safety-incident, and moderation records are preserved only to the extent required by law, regulation, or an active dispute.

You can delete your Opportunity Radar account at any time from Account Settings → Delete Account. If you cannot sign in, contact help@opportunityradar.info and we will verify ownership before processing your request.

Deletion signs you out of every device, permanently removes your personal profile, and — when you signed in with Apple — asks Apple to revoke Opportunity Radar's access to your Apple ID. Some records are retained as described in Data Retention above.

Opportunity Radar is not intended for children under 13. Accounts must comply with the platform's age requirements. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.

Opportunity Radar may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page regularly for any changes.
